April Lockhart
April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began with guitar and piano in seventh grade. This sparked curiosity. In the seventh grade, April began taking guitar and piano classes. It sparked her interest in songwriting. At the age of 14 years old, April was spending a lot of time writing and honed her musicianship ability. The songwriting began with her dad in NY and LA shortly after. The month also saw her include other related topics for some of her peers who are dealing in the area of bullying by peers and teenage suicide as depicted in the song"Take" my Hand. Lockhart also has an ever-growing fan base as a lifestyle blogger and is employed by the renowned brand of clean and natural beauty Ilia. She was born without her left hand, and it's part of her story, but this isn't the whole truth. Lockhart's profile on Instagram doesn't hide her disability but doesn't concentrate solely on the issue. The point? The message? We each contain multitudes, that our physical and identity self aren't as they appear. Lockhart, via video message from Nashville at home, claims that I do not want that to be a part of myself. I am greater than the physical person I am. It doesn't impact my everyday life. I go about every day as normal and have found my own method of adjusting to things. However, it's a component of me so I think it's essential to discuss. Lockhart is a great example of how to stay striving to be self-accepting. Even so, Lockhart admits having moments of feeling uneasy about her appearance and wearing clothing that showed her arms. She dresses according to her preferences and is proud to post pictures of herself dressed in outfits she wears on social media. Self-love, she says is a journey. It's not clear if you'll ever reach the final stage. It's true for all, no matter what their levels of anxiety. The people you surround yourself with who truly know you and see through your eyes are the most important people to remind you of what you're concerned about.
