Jenna Fischer has become best well-known for her role as Pam Beesly, the character she played on The Office. For this character, she was awarded two SAG Awards in Outstanding Ensemble Comedy and an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Her family was based on the streets of St. Louis Missouri. Jenna's mother Anne often performed in dramas at church as a child This sparked her enthusiasm for theatre.
She's a trained actress who returned to the stage after The Office. She starred with Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway play Reasons for Being Happy. Then she starred in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist production starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer have launched Office Ladies, a podcast hosted by Earwolf in the month of October. The podcast has been a huge success, reaching in the Top Ten worldwide every week, and receiving more than 200 million downloads within its first two-years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She has written two books: The Actor's Life A Survival Guide in which she describes her journey to Hollywood as a working actor as well as Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Great Friends that Were There an account of the most memorable friendship they had as well as their experience on The Office.
